emergency plan

If there was a tornado out of nowhere at school I would have a very smart plan.My plan will be to immediately get away from any windows. After I did this I would then proceed to the nearest stairwell and try my best to go the fastest i can to get to the bottom floor. In this case just knowing myself I would still be a little paranoid so just be safe i will get under something strong enough to protect me if something falls or breaks. Finally the game everybody hates i would wait until it is over and pray for my safety. If I get lucky enough by doing all of this in my opinion i would have a really good chance at surviving and being saved by help like firefighters, policemen and more. To improve survival with myself and everyone else I would have to say we have to work together and be calm because if everyone is panicking a lot can go wrong.

Shark Tank v. Marcus Lemonis --Aja Rayfield

Marcus Lemonis is definitely a better investor. In Shark Tank, you have a few minutes to pitch your project and try to convince random strangers to throw money your way. Whereas Marcus Lemonis goes into your business, he sees the issues head-on and in person. From there he decides whether or not to invest his money. He makes sure that you see the issues and why your business is struggling.  I would trust Marcus Lemonis more when it comes to investing and adding people to my company. I need someone who relates to everyday issues and will be hands-on when it comes to developing a successful company.

The militarization and the advancement of police forces around the country have been an ongoing debate for some time now. Minority Report is one of many films which shows the implications of having an infallible police force. An infallible police state is when the police hold on to a lot of power and are never wrong in the eyes of the law. This is illustrated in Minority Report as precrime which is a system used to stop murders before they even happen. This system gave police undeniable power and ended up putting a lot of people away. In the context of today's society, I do understand that precrime would stop a lot of senseless and violent crimes, however, giving the police all of that power could be damaging to disenfranchised groups of people who already suffer under the current state of police in our society. The movie also showed that precrime was not always necessarily right and there were some anomalies that showed alternate futures for the would-be murderers...

The Profit Vs Shark Tank Aveary Marquez

For my product, Shark Tank would be better than The Profit.  I say this because, Marcus Lemonis is investing in businesses that are close to shutting down while Shark Tank invests in new business ideas. Shark tank might see the value in my product and give me money to use to produce my product

Pre-crime is an endorsement of technology by society. In an era where technology influences every facet of our lives, the conclusion to use technology in crime is a logical one. While technology is very useful, a line has to be drawn. When we use the judgment of technology to determine guilt over humans, this indicates a loss of humanity in society. A human crime cannot be determined by something that is not human, making the system fallible by nature. Furthermore, if the future is known by those involved in it, they may directly influence it and if they are aware, a different outcome may happen. The only way for this technology to be infallible would be if no one knew its predictions, however, if this is the case the system becomes inherently useless.

Pre-Crime as a sign of an infallible police state 1) The term "infallible police state" refers to the advertised success rate of the Pre-Crime program. In the movie the police have a 90% success rate in stopping murders, this method yields results that tend to be without fail. 2) I believe this type of policing wouldn't be plausible in our society. Not only would it be the cause of public outrage over the invasion of privacy yet it would also be likely impossible to enact such a program into cities across the US. The crime in major cities is too vast to be fixed by such a direct solution. 3) This program would be most useful in stopping crimes of domestic abuse being that Pre-Crime is most effective against crimes of passion.

Pre-crime as a sign of the power of an infallible police state. 1) An infallible police state is a police that is unable to make mistakes or incapable of being wrong. At the beginning of the movie, John is trying to convince Danny Witwer that pre-crime was in fact infallible. At the time, John did believe this because he was unaware of the minority reports. Everyone believed that no mistakes were made because the murders would have happened if they weren't there to stop it. 2) Of course and infallible police state would be ideal for our society, then there would be no crime. But as we see in the movie, even if we have a way to see the future there is still a flaw and there is still a way to beat the system. 3) The shooting at the Tree of Life Synogague could have been avoided if precrime existed and were infallible. If the police knew that the shooting was going to happen they could've stopped the 11 people who were killed from losing their lives.
