Hannah Greenberg Minority Report
Pre-crime as a sign of the power of an infallible police state.
1) An infallible police state is a police that is unable to make mistakes or incapable of being wrong. At the beginning of the movie, John is trying to convince Danny Witwer that pre-crime was in fact infallible. At the time, John did believe this because he was unaware of the minority reports. Everyone believed that no mistakes were made because the murders would have happened if they weren't there to stop it.
2) Of course and infallible police state would be ideal for our society, then there would be no crime. But as we see in the movie, even if we have a way to see the future there is still a flaw and there is still a way to beat the system.
3) The shooting at the Tree of Life Synogague could have been avoided if precrime existed and were infallible. If the police knew that the shooting was going to happen they could've stopped the 11 people who were killed from losing their lives.
