Ariana Mitchell Minority Report

1)An infallible police state is when the police do not make any mistakes. The whole process of handling crime is perfect and no has no flaws. The police system in Minority Report is said to be infallible by the people who live in the area. The administrators and everyone who works at the police department think that their method is flawless because the murder and crime rate has decreased drastically since they began using this system.
2)I don’t think that this should be used in our society because it is not flawless. The creator of the system herself said that the whole thing is very flawed and that innocent people have had their lives taken away because of this. I think that there is a lot of room for error with this system. People do not always act upon what they are thinking and the whole future telling thing can’t always be so reliable. John Anderton, the chief of the whole department, was a victim of the whole method himself. John was set up by Lamar so that he would kill the man that he thought killed his son. This was an error and he was set up, so the system is flawed and shouldn’t be used in our society.
3)Although I don’t think it should be used, I think that it could’ve helped in any crimes where the murderer acts in passion. I think that this method could have been used to stop school shootings. School shootings are becoming more and more common and if we had this system, we would be able to stop them before they occur using the precogs to predict the outcome and the future of the situation.
